Una Diffley received her Masters in Public Health from Hunter College, School of Health Sciences. She has had a career in public health spanning 40 years, spending ten years at the American Health Foundation in NYC, and 30 years at the Rockland County Department of Health, where she is currently Director of the Division of Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention. She is a founding member and past-President of the Rockland Alliance for Health. She lives in New City with her husband and Australian Labradoodle Murphy and has two grown children. When not promoting preventive health, Ms. Diffley loves to travel and hike, and if she could be anywhere in the world, would choose the Beara Peninsula, in County Cork, Ireland.
